Dealing with Adversity

Posted by FLATOUT JIM in

Check out the pic above. That is Canadian Olympic Bobsleigher Heather Moyse. The story is that she returned to her home in PEI, and when she showed up at the local gym for her training session, and found it was closed, she quickly came up with an improvised workout which included, PUSHING a CAR.

Read about it yourself on Heathers blog, and while there, check out the rest of her site. It’s pretty good. And wish her luck in Vancouver 2010.

And don’t make excuses if you run into adversity trying to fit in a workout. Think about Heather pushing that car.

That's no joke! Look at her bunz too! I won't be pushing any cars but the lazy ass American's just wear me out - all excuses and NO action.

Wow, this is incredible. I guess lunges aren't so bad after all!!

Now if only we could give each obese person one of the "cash for clunkers" cars that we all traded in to push we'd kill the obesity epidemic as well as helping the auto industry!
Love this girl's style of working out!!! And to think, I only push a big ass tire around, pfftttt!!

Hi Jim,

Really thought I had left a message here on Wednesday inviting you over to my blog to pick up your award.
It is the post of Wednesday 9 september.
Love,
Herrad

Hey Missy,
If the U.S. Men's Hockey are lazy ass and all excuses with no Action, what does that make the Canadian men's team? DOA?
